steven king - the stand.
i read alot. true crime is my fave, i think because i always wanted to be a homicide detective. but steven king is the best for twisted horror.

My favorite books are the PostSecret books. I have a similar project going called The Unposted Letters Project, where you can write a letter to anyone, say what you can't say face to face, mail it to me, and I'll publish it in the book! The link is below...
