I have three favourite sets of books at the moment

The Eragon series by Christopher Paolini
I have read the first two books and am looking forward to getting the third one as soon as it is released over here

The Chronicles of Darkness series by Michelle Paver
Based of a wolf which is my favourite animal and they are also exceptionally well written

The Doom series by Dafydd ab Hugh
which is based on the original video games

I love the Eragon series, it's a shame that the film version of it was so dire and missed out most of the book

I also love Animal Farm by George Orwell and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, both classics

Agreed, the film missed out some of what I thought were the main parts of the entire plot.
Not sure if they are planning on making a film of Eldest but I hope they do a better job if they do.
