Well, being in my late 30's and 'retired' from the scene I tend to stick with the stuff I liked when I was first turned on to the genre.Plus when i was in my 20's...DK of course, the clash, Crass, Subhumans, GBH, Circle Jerks, black flag, rancid (pre-commercial) Fugazi, NOFX, the early pogues (Ireland), Stiff little finger (Scotland), the gits, ramones. I have a hard time keeping track of my tapes though. I have a 10 yr old daughter that keeps 'borrowing' them. So every few days I have to 'clean her room' . I finally let her keep my original Sex Pistols cassette from when I was in the 5th grade (1979-80) See, told ya i was old, lol

I just had to read all the previous posts in here. Better for me to get the feel of the average likely age of 'punks' in here. I have to assume the majority are under 25, possibly even under 20. I am not trying to come off like some old school self righteous ass, but I must have been at a DK show the day the teacher in the Punk Rock 101 cla** tried to introduce EMO as PUNK. please excuse me while I try to tame my insta-gag reflex.
