My sister danced in that play. But they did a horrible job even
if they had cool effects and everything. Can you imagine they actually added in parts with
my native language in it? It would have been fine if it was high school or college students
watching but they charged too much for them to watch!

With the whole language thing, that might have got confusing. I'd jsut laugh anyway.

Shakespere's Midsummer Nights Dream performed at night in the Melbourne Botanical gardens by Bell Shakespere and Circus Oz - amazing effects, lighting and acrobatics in the incredible setting of a tropical lakeside landscape at the Bot. Gardens on a beutiful summer night in Melbourne - years ago now (saw it for school) but I think it was the first out-door production of its kind in Melbourne (or, at least, the first of that scale by a major company) - Magical!

ive never understood this play/musical thing why not just film the first performance and save the actors/singers all that dressing up everyday

They do that as well.... but have you ever compared a live show of something to a film of the same thing? It's like asking someone if they'd prefer to watch a video of their favourite band's gig rather than actually seeing the live show!!!

Wow.... well, my all time favorite musical is Les Miserables, and I got to see that in Detroit, but I got to see Phantom of the Opera at Pantages in Toronto, that is something special!!! At some point in time, I want to plan a trip to see ANYTHING on Broadway, and I want to see Movin Out... the Billy Joel musical!!!!

Mamma Mia. Favourite of all time. Saw the Canadian Tour at least four times now. They always get the whole theatre up and dancing at some point!
