Who out there has facebook on this site?? I do I was just wondering if anyone else did. Any college people or high schoolers got the old facebook?? I am not yet addicted to it but a lot of my friends are. Its fun to keep in touch with friends from high school and people that you go to college with that move away or keep up with what they are doing in the summer.

I signed up for facebook many, many moons ago and never went back to it. There was a huge article on it in our campus newspaper at the time that prompted me to go check it out. I quickly got bored & left. In the meantime, they were in the paper to begin with because they were one of the numerous sites where individuals were getting into trouble in real life based upon information they posted on their profiles (e.g., drinking, drugs, cheating, etc.). I simply do not understand why people automatically think that they can post whatever they want on the internet and no one will ever find out. It's bound to happen.

I would completely agree. Its myspace for college people. I dont really like sites where you just leave messages for each other and you look at people's pages and all they talk about is their LAME drinking/partying/cheating lives.

I signed up for facebook cuz I read about it in another school paper (don't tell anyone; I could get lynched for that. I'm the editor of ours!) and it seemed cool.
But everyone I know is more into myspace, so I go on there more often. (Don't tell anyone; TFSers will impale me!)

I have one. I'm totally addicted to it. I saw in a few other threads on here that some people were annoyed that it shows every little thing people do...but you can change that in your options.

I really love it. I am there way more than MySpace, and the site is much more private than MySpace. It's next to impossible to search for people unless you know their full name or email address...and even then, you can't see their profile unless they approve you to be able to. You can even edit what certain people see and what others don't. You can make limited profiles without anyone knowing it. It's a really well set up site.

i got a facebook, it's awesome, i've found lots of my old friends on there so we can keep in touch. it is basically myspace for college people, that's why i love it!

Meh, Facebook is mediocre.
I rarely ever go there, the most I ever do
is add myself to one of the many useless groups
on there.
I spend much more time on MySpace.

facebook is cleaner and more organized then myspace, but it is boring at times i havent really connected with anyone from my past on there.
