That is very interesting but why should we bother to understand UFO's if they do not affect us?

How does a manual covering potential threats prove that the threats are real?

You might feel there is "evidence" of the existence of UFOs.. but this isn't.

I think its amusing that the scientific community has defined the search for extra terrestrials and dedicate radio telescopes to search the galaxy for signals. To me an advanced civilisation would communicate interdimensionally and telepathically maybe the flying saucer type motifs of the whirling disc are a masquerade, maybe alien intelligence is so bizarre that these tangible forms are there so as not alarm us as to its true implications, and i don't mean this in a negative way.

Humans are using basic, simple, "easy" means to attempt communication with other potential civilizations. It's reasonable to expect that another would do the same.

I keep a stock pot of reeces pieces and I am confident that upon invasion the cool kids from outer space will spare me.

and also i'd have to read the contents, the flashing drawing of aliens that piece kept showing i suspect were somewhat misleading.

its either the published work of someone with biased beliefs on the subject or a valid assessment of the potential for choas to ensue should people 'believe' there is an alien invasion, like the war of the worlds incident.

Why do UFOs and aliens get mixed up so much. A UFO can be anything in the sky that we unaware of previously. It could be a meteor we never saw before, some weird light phenomenon, or some animal we not have seen before, or did not recognize.

There can be perfectly reasonable, scientific, earth based explanations for things seen in the sky. Until one is found though, its technically unidentified.

An alien spaceship landing and pouring little green men wouldn't technically be a UFO, since at that point it would be identified as such.
