Exercise really does relieve stress for me. I had a real crappy day filled with constant arguing and dissatisfaction. Then I went to my karate class and I feel much better.

I think it's a great combination of focusing your mind and energy on something more positive, while also exercising your body and relieving the physical tension from your muscles through stretching, etc. There's also the endorphins thing going on.

Exercise is great for making you feel better

I agree. I started running again recently, which might not be the best choice for me because I am easily addicted to running and prone to stress fractures.

Totally true statement! Have been doing it to relieve stress since I can remember. Sometimes it takes time to motivated yourself into doing it but once you've done it it's like a whole different person is awakened!

Yes, it can be very hard to find the motivation when you're stressed, tired and worn out. That's part of the reason why I was glad I had my martial arts class tonight. When you pay for stuff and it's on a regular schedule, it makes it a lot easier to find the motivation to go

I'm sure it does work for some people but when I'm stressed the last thing I want to do is go for a run or something.

I do running for a minimum of 20 minutes, about 5 times a week
I always get this state of Euphoria after, and if I can't get out on that day, I feel really aggresive
