I liked my immortal but if we're talking about like goth-tinged bands with female vocals i prefer within temptation or old lacuna coil.

Still a cool band though

I used to really like Evanescence, but I got so very bored of them when they released "The Open Door".

Now I only really like a few of their songs from "Fallen", but that's about it.

I was disapointed with "The Open Door" also, but I like a couple songs from there.
I still really like "Fallen"

I love Evanescence. I have every single song they've ever done (as far as I know lol). However, I do prefer Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil these days. And they're not exactly in the same category, but I love all things Nightwish

I've been a fan of Evanescence for 3 years now, and I love both Fallen and Open Door. I play both albums each day as I drive. I also like Within Temptation's Black Symphony

I had both albums playing as I drove. Made for a great day.
Evanescence is one of my top fave bands.
Here are some great pics of Amy, save them if you like them.
Look at her eyes in the last pic, OMG

I love this band. I have 8 albums on my MP3 player, and I played Fallen and Open Door all day. I had a great day listening and singing along with Amy.
When I first heard My Imortal for the first time a few years ago, I placed it in the top fave songs of mine of all time. Yes, her songs are dark and sad but that's what makes the so beautiful. The use of strings in her songs are one of the things that drew me to Evanescence.
I love Fallen and Open Door equally as two of my fave albums of all time. I've been touched by Evanescence a few years back and have been a fan ever since.
My age does not matter with the music that makes my ears smile. I will never get tired of Amy's voice and the sounds of Evanescence.
