Why do women want equality when they can be equal when they could be better?

Shows a lack of ambition.

Which is why men are better.

Wow, no argument here. We guys love pampering the hell out of our women, not necessarily out guilt. The more pampering, the more sex, cooking, cleaning and all the other things women were meant to give their man.

Women just want equal pay in some jobs. All other things have pretty much been equaled, in my eyes, as a female. I don't feel I am missing out on much.

I would like to know what guys talk about in the mens urinals at work...

They seem to be in there for ages.....

I just want the same respect a man gets and the same salary.

Its true women are generally better at doing several things at once than men but we cant pee standing up.

I don't want to be better than a man, how could i respect him. I want an equal.

women weren't meant to give anything to men...i believe that at the time people began existence, men and women just screwed and moved on with life. neither really had a specific place in the community and monogamy was probably non-existent or very rare.

by cooking and cleaning for a man (when he can do it himself) you enable him to be stupid and lazy...lazy men are turn-offs to most women.

see i see the companies out there view on equal pay.

Take a Man, he works has 9-5 for say 40 years.. so thats 9-5 for 48 weeks a year? (minus 4 week holiday).

that's say 1920 weeks in a working male life.

Now the average woman, and I am talking about the same as an average working man.. not house work and bringing up kids... the average family is 2 kids?? so that in the UK is 2 Maternity leaves.

So best case sernario is this..

if an average woman has 2 children that is about 104 weeks mat leave in a females life...

Also women retire at 60 not 65 in the UK for men. so they would work on average 35 years.. Minus the 2 year mat leave will equal..

1576.. now I am going on averages here.. and I am not taking into fact of hard work and overtime.

Now normally I find that most woemn tend to extend there Mat leave for up to 3 years.. so add that to it..

This is why men and women dont get paid equally.. and that was explained to me by a female MD!

I just want the same respect for either gender and recognition of job well done as they do.

So! Equal in that sense. But we do know for fact that men have more muscle mass than women do and can do a lot more of the heavier physical work like lifting [I know this because I have been trying to keep up to the labor work of men all my life and it has caught up to me as I am not built for some of the tasks].

Women are better at multitasking on the whole.

But all I want is a healthy respect for what a man can do and what a woman can do with no belittling on either part. After all why are we constantly fighting with the people that we love to fraternize with on a constant basis?

Sorry hun Multitasking is a myth IMO to any sex.. some people can cope with bigger work loads others cant that is granted.. but being able to do more than 2 things at once is apparently the stretch for most humans..

I know! Multitasking isn't inclusive to women. I've seen women that can't do one thing at a time just as some men can multitask and some that can't do one thing at a time.

I really don't think it's a gender thing.

As for the rest I accept that things are as they are!
