We are in the scrap metal recycling business we ,we use energy saving light bulbs , grow our own veggies, recycle plastics, I use a clothes line to dry our laundry and a wringer washing machine and am very conservative about water because we have to haul every drop we use except for the garden for that I have a dirt storage tank that fills up when it rains.

If your gonna go, go like hell, If your minds not made up, Dont use your SPURS !!

we have always recycled everything you can possible think of.....2 people, 4 cats and 6 blue bins every 2 weeks.

We use the green bin for cat litter, eggs, wet paper towel and just about everything else to save on garbage.

Earth Day: turn off the computer at night.

Go out and clean up the filthy garbage everywhere that assholes have littered & thrown everywhere in the winter months on my streets and a park.

We conserve energy and recycle and basically do what people do on earth day every day, it's just the norm in our lifestyle. I've been doing all these things since I left the farm and moved to the city as my Parents were very earth conscience and raised us that way. Not really much more we can do except perhaps as a forum we should all decide to log off and keep our computer's off until midnight

Why not?? we'd all be having withdrawals and be unbearable for other's to be around, you're right, we may be saving the earth but it would not bode well for the people we'd end up harming due to withdrawals

I doubt 50 people turning off their computer for the day would save it. lol

BTW, did the whole "Black out for an hour" thing do anything?
