i say no, i say this because there is nothing wrong with alot of emo music.

also, aslong as music exsits, music cannot "ruin" music,

all it can do is change for the new generation

i find it fairly easy if i dont like a type of music to not listen to it.

In think thats a real closed minded though. One genre can never ruin the whole set of music, it can onyl becime more or less popular in comparison to the other genre's. As playboi_bunnie101 said this does have nothing to do with punk.

Personally i like emo music for what it is although the genre is hard to define, like all other rock genre's your gonna get some cla** acts and emo is no exception.

the way i see it is if you like emo music...listen to it and if you don't...then don't listen to it.It's simple. && I don't think emo is ruining music, there's plenty of other genres about and there's just alot of 'emo' music about atm.

How could emo ruin music if it is music?? Different people think different things. Punk music is waaayyy better than emo though.

No I'm not allergic to surprises I'm Just not fond of them.

you guys all have good points but i said it wrong isnt emo ruining PUNK music? why do i say that? because of all the emo bands people try to play off as punk it is really hurting the music for people gettin the wrong idea as to what punk really is.
