Most of you may have seen on the news that we had a bad dust storm here in Australia about a week ago.

I can't take any credit for these photo's,but from what I'm told,they were taken somewhere near Alice Springs in the Territory.

Whoever did take them obviously didn't get to many before it got to where they were.It was on the Sydney News a night later,the dust was blown across to New Zealand as well.

Neither have I as it was long before I was born. My son has sent similar photos from when he was stationed in Iraq.

When I was stationed in the Gulf we had to sweep the sand off the ship after each one. Not fun.
