That point is one that the news doesn't really mention. There is not a whole lot of oil up there, and the cost I believe out weighs the benfits. Yet the Rep's still push for drilling up there, but do nothing that would involve conservation and research and development of new energy sources. It seems that it is oil or nothing with them.
