I can easily pick out people here by the way that they post. I've guessed (correctly) a number of sock puppet accounts here based on the way that people type.

Some do, some don't. Given a few posts, there are probably about 10 people here I could reliably identify.

I think people would pick up on mine rather quickly

Not everyone, but I can usually tell who a person is after they've left and logged on with a new acct.
