i think the top one, the colours are really nice,

Good picture, colour one definately better.

The expression of the photo is brought out by the vibrant colours, it expresses the happy feeling of the photo better rather than the black and white one. Black and white photo's instill an idea of the picture being old, before colour photo's were the norm, because the picture is of a child it almost makes it seem like the child is a memory of the person owning the photo.

The colour one is much more alive and noticable.

cause my mom wants to use it for her sites and stuff cause she goes on her own forums, and she wants to show me off..
and I might put it on my myspace, but idkk.

If it's for forums to show you off, I'd be letting mom decide. Both pics have around equal appeal asthetically. Some subjects suit colour, some black and white, the pic you posted works in either. I could sit here and try to decide for you but I would just end up giving myself a headache, not much diff between the two.

It depends on what it's for. If you are doing it for art, I like the 2nd one better. If you want to hang it on your wall to display a memory, then the color one.

Personally I'm a big fan a B&W, so I have to say I like the 2nd one.
