I already recommended this one, under a slightly different name, earlier in the thread.

It takes more than a few weeks to learn how to massage, at least it does if you want to be able to actually help people with their muscular problems. You'd also have problems getting insurance unless you have some kind of recognised qualification- not that I ever needed my insurance in 8 years of massaging for a living, but IMO, if you're massaging professionally, you'd have to be crazy not to have it, given the litigous society we live in.

It's also not a great time to be getting into massage, it's mostly perceived as a luxury, which means it's one of the first things that people cut back on when they start to feel the pinch.

Is that so?
Many who require these services never feel the pinch!
That would depend on the clients you attract. I have a husband/wife friend who earn a very good living from it. I have also checked out a course where you gain a level 3 GNVQ in between 6-10 days....at The Carlton Institute for example.

I'm sorry, but having studied the appropriate anatomy & physiology, as well as the massage techniques, I can say with absolute certainty that 6-10 days is NOT long enough to learn what you need to know to be able to give safe effective massages! Unless you're talking about 6-10 study days spread over a number of months, with time in between for case studies & learning all the A&P required; Quite a lot of schools do it that way. *shrug*

When I find one, I'll let you know. I'm looking myself and getting into a bit of a knot trying.

Who cares anyway!
Massage was only one of a number of suggestions i made for working from home.
You may not need a degree in anything to earn from it!
