I am a strong beleiver in it. I was introduced to the idea about 12 years ago. I was waiting to be allocated an apartment and i had my eye on this particular one. It was luck of the draw through. My mother-in-law at the time said to me to picture myself and my things in the apartment. So i did and suprisingly i got it.

I figured it was coincidence and it may well have been. But since then i use it a lot in life and generally DO get what i want.

Many religions use positive thought, chanting for what you want, prayers for the sick or those in trouble.

Hypnotherapists use it too, allowing people to give up habits, overcome bad memories and trauma, for motivation to do the things we feel we cannot do.

Whether you beleive in it or not, i find a postive thought and attitude brings you a lot further in life.

I couldnt agree more. Religion aside, people pray and beg in all kinds of ways. Also, Mind over matter is so important. I have a clotting disorder and finally decided to say, Okay..lets get on with it! It made all the difference from just sitting and feeling sorry.

Positive thought has to trigger something in you that sees hope where there may be little I think

I am an advocate of the Bright Side. I don't consider myself to have a charge. But I do view the best aspects of events and subsequent consequences and try to find means to "use" the bad stuff to my advantage.
The Bright Side is not always bright - it's up to you to make it bright no matter way. Never get depressed, always fight for everything and be merry even in the darkest hour.
Being grumpy will only make you lose your focus and you'll end up making mistakes.

last night I was 'positive' I would beat a pro on PGR3, I was positive and I DID win.

in the next race I wasn't positive and I lost. coincedence? I think nOT!!

I think that it can help improve your chances. In the example you gave if you are thinking positively while going around an apartment and picturing your stuff there the people will see you are more attached to it than the others. Also if people go into something thinking they will do badly they tend to screw it up themselves...It has limits but thinking positively does get more to go your way...

I believe that we can't have positive thought withought negative thought. Its not a good thing that everyones postive. That's a dream world. But this is reality, and some things will never change.
