I understand some people are dyslexic. I'm not having a go at them but in the name of the wee man, would the rest of you at least PROOF READ the damn piece before you post or at least write in a fashion that is of the standards of educated people.

Also, what the fish is with all these "new words" that are either parts of two words joined together (chillax, for example) and words that are shortened (thou instead of thousand, for example)?

As for the way some people talk, well, don't even get me started on that.

Have some pride and write properly. Either that or don't.

I know I'm not perfect; I'm not saying I am but it's a ridiculously sad time for us all if we can't even use our own language properly.

Isn't 'thou' the Shakespearian word for 'you'?
I haven't actually heard it being used as an abbreviation for 'thousand.'

I agree though, I know sometimes we all make typing errors but it's not that difficult to spell properly.

Spellchick, where are you!!!! Even using spell check won't catch everything - I hate it for me when I use the wrong there, their, or they're. Context error, bleah!
But when it is a short post, many times I don't bother to spellcheck it. I eyeball it. Then after posting, I review it again and if I find errors, I edit it! Some
slip by. As you said, no one is perfect.

I don't proof read my posts on here because I'm just posting for fun.

I proof read everything else that I do...I just can't be bothered on here, too much time, I just write and hit post. Though I am always editing about ten seconds after I post something I try...but 99% of the time, I fail to try. If I catch it, I catch it, If I don't...ehh who cares, you know what I mean anyway.
