This has been running around my head for a bit. Especially since the election. The reality is that we allowed our government to be used as a partisan tool of persecution/prosecution against one of the most gifted politicians of our time. She was beaten by a completely unqualified, ignorant, racist, sexist narcissist man.

We gave the keys to the kingdom to a completely unqualified man instead of the most qualified person - who happened to be a woman.

Why?

I'd buy the whole email scandal thing except for the Bush white house private RNC server inquisition they held... oh that's right, they didn't. Over 22 million emails deleted - from a private server. It's all part of history. Easily findable on Wikipedia. Corroborated by precious few - however there are some - media stories at the time.

Benghazi? Same thing except worse. Bush administration had almost 100 deaths in a double handful of embassy "situations" but there weren't eight committees to investigate it.

Establishment politics? Hardly. Look who Trump had and is putting in inner circle power positions.

All I know is we better look long and hard at how we look at women. This is on us. Especially white people. Black and Latino people got it. Even women over all got it. Men over all did not. White men most certainly did not. And white women did not.

We have a real problem with how we minimize women and are able to set women aside.

What's going to happen to the next woman politician that has the nerve to come forth? Are we going to stand by and watch as our government is used to tarnish and ruin another good leader?

We'll be paying for this for a long time to come. I don't think we can afford this prejudice any longer - not if this is the cost.

Lol, good lord. I don't even know what to say here. You've got a real chip on your shoulders when it comes to men. To the point of man hate here. It was evident in your other posts but this really takes the cake. You think that Clinton was that good of politician, she was a political f***ing hack and the voters said as much. I kept telling you to put me on ignore. The absolute drivel you post I need to put you on ignore. Bunch of horshyt you put down here. Lol....

I did know that Hillary was the better candidate out of two. many americans want someone different the politician than either republican or democrat. last two elections prove have a bozo or a black man is better have a regular white person, who is politician.

only that the same in election, that nobody want an independent as president. I am not sure what the answer is for this.

I don't think because Hillary is a woman. bozo reach out to people that don't trust politician or the government.

only different between this election, bozo hilter's plan dominate the world's power. but the republican party get what always want money, after that they are happy.

the only different this republican party and ryran, they are afraid of bozo and his visions. they can't control him at all.

I think republicans, maybe the first time, if bozo goes too far, they would did band the republican party.

this election was all about white man's ego that ( I don't understand )has been bruise or tarnish by other races, any white people can stand. of course, not all white people feel this way.

white people are divide by this. it could actually someday. that could be civil war in America for this something. this election should been typically victory to democrats. because republicans would lost because of their greed.

obviously, Hillary and the government lost because of email and lack of responsible that not that surprise. the government feel that security at our government is a better than any others.

obviously, our government hasn't learn from pearl harbor or 9/11. we have a lot of work in communication problems in our government to brag about that America is bet anything.

is America that surprise that bozo like trump is our 45th president of the united states?

I didn't want either of them, and my reasoning was not based on gender in any respect. Are you more or less saying that Trump was elected purely because of sexism? I don't know that I can agree that his election is tantamount to demonizing women.

There are some dangerously categorical statements in the OP here that I, as a progressive white male who has spoken out for feminism often, have to kind of recoil from.

I think it was more of a GOPer vs Dem thing going on.

We all knew 7-1/2 years ago that she was going to be the Dems "Favorite" candidate for 2016. That gave the GOPers 8 years to sharpen their target practice.
I agree with your statement about the gov't turning into a partisan tool for persecution, but I don't think it was necessarily gender based.

There are definitely people who didn't vote for her based on her gender.

and before one of you tell me that I am bitter, I'd like to remind you that I don't need anyone to tell me how I feel. I am not bitter, I'm scared. Men make women's health a policy in the political realm and it is none of their business. This affects me. It does not affect you. I have the right to worry about how a viagra popping asshat is going to dictate to me and my fellow sisters what we do to our bodies.

I wonder what would happen if we made it a policy that men couldn't obtain those precious blue pills anymore.

I agree. You'd have to be blind and naive to disagree. I am not okay with that and I am a white male.

So in the grander scheme, when I am seen as a bigot (which I'm not) or part of the problem (which I'm pretty sure I'm not) just because I happen to be a white male, am I allowed to speak against that?

I have issues with blanket statements on all sides of the problem, whether they include me as a part of the group being categorized or not.

Yes, I'm nervous about making this post and the backlash it might cause, but isn't that part of the problem too?

Its a habit that goes back what? 5000 years at least, but probably more like 200000 years. Effort is being made to correct gender inequality, this is obvious to me when i look at history.

Also im pretty sure that gender played a role in the elections. How could it not. You know how many "at least we got a white man back in the white house" jokes ive heard lately?

A joke is a joke is a joke, right? But not really .

If I were American, I would've voted Jill Stein. That is, if she were even on the ballot in whatever my home state would be.

Thank you for making the effort, really.

I'm REALLY not trying to make things worse, just speaking and hoping this ugliness can stop doing more damage than it's done already. My f***ing family is breaking apart because of it all already.

I hope that the fears women are facing end up being unfounded and I really hope you retain the voices and personal freedoms you all deserve.

Led Zeppelin had it right from the beginning:
The soul of a woman was created below.

And why men are always:
Tryin' to find a woman who's never, never, never been born.
