| barlakopofai Commander ![]() Quebec, Canada | #1 So, I have DID, blah lbah lbah backstory This weekend I've sort of been merged with one of my alters, but now I really don't like it. The merge is apparently not fully completed since I still think normally occasionnally (like now). Is there any way to reverse it? | ||

Verification of the unmerging process will be that you no longer think normally. Upon reaching this state, you can ask your alter just what went wrong the first time... that is, if he will ever trust you after you've burned his ass!

|
| barlakopofai Commander ![]() Quebec, Canada | #7 It takes over a month to talk to a psychiatrist here. It's been only three days and I already can't think straight. I'll take my chances with the forumers | ||

| paramour Ogler ![]() , Illinois | #10 Um, exactly what are a bunch of forum folks going to be able to offer you re: specific intervention for a psychiatric disorder? Those folks who do have any mental health education/training technically should not be providing you with "advice," as they don't know anything about you, your psychosocial history, or your treatment history, and it would be unethical to do so to boot (to keep it simple). I would parrot sTreetAngeL's advice to seek help from a professional rather than a bunch of folks who can't do jack for you. | ||

| futilevoice Debater ![]() , Illinois | #12 I'm not familiar with DID but do you feel like you are out of body? I have been in that place. You will need time to come to terms with whatever you are avoiding. What I have learned from mental disorders is a lot of it comes from trying to escape reality. So you create another world for yourself or in your case another personality. Best to face the pain of your reality than to continue to create alter egos. That's probably what a psychiatrist will tell you. | ||

They know their stuff there but I've been banned because my other alter told an admin to go die
