This is a new ad campaign to get more tourists to New Mexico. A few people here have been whining about it . Take a look and share your opinion.

now you can't see the people. And their facial expressions, so people don't know whether they actually mean it.

Also it seems a little roswelly. And what I mean by that, a little alien to the common person from say San Francisco. Also makes New Mexico seem distant.

Doesn't really say much about the place either. One picture representing an entire state. Makes you think is that the only highlight of New Mexico.

Doesn't represent what New Mexico is really like. And to be honest, it didn't inspire me to come to New Mexico! how much money did they blow on that?

I read about this recently...people concerned that this wouldn't encourage tourists to visit NM. I think it's fine. It's goofy and a little wacky, but I can't see it keepign people away.

I just wanna shake it up.

I think it's funny and a refreshing change from the typical tourism ad that goes unnoticed.

I agree that they could definitely incorporate more of "what to see" in NM in their ad, whether it be through additional pics of attractions or references to visiting their ancestors in Roswell or whatever. BUT, the commercial as is does at least pique my interest enough to research NM to determine what's out there.

It is definitely different from all the other "let us show you a dozen stunning scenery or woo hoo fun locations within the space of 30-60 seconds, which will prompt you to visit our state immediately" commercials. Those annoy me. They all look the same and I tend to tune them out.
