Bought a barrel yesterday. I mixed it with water as it says to do. Was wondering if it can be mixed with milk for better taste?

I learned how much of what we think to be necessary is superflous; I have learned how few things are essential, and how essential those things really are.

it probably depends on the brand?

if it's ok to mix with milk, usually it says on the label.

I've had some that could be mixed with milk. It didn't make a difference. The taste still sucked. They do have creatine pills, which you might want to give a try after you figure out a way to get through all that powder.

The best way to take your creatine is with something with natural fructose...I mix mine in with a little applesauce and just down it. Applejuice will work. My experiance with milk was not a pleasant one..so tread lightly

FYI I am a former body builder and personal trainer any other questions feel free to pm me.

from what i read, creatine helps you repair and rebuild the muscles in the body which are strained during exercise...

A lot of body builders take it in addition to their balanced diet to help with the muscle building process.

Its very difficult to take and unpalatable. I know a guy who takes his in the fruit shakes he makes each morning.

Creatine used for various reasons, depending upon who is taking it. As already mentioned, individuals trying to build muscle ma** are most common and then you have others who take it purely in an attempt to gain weight in general (which typically occurs through added muscle mass). Now they've got people coming out saying that it is good for you mentally, helps memory, etc. It comes in a variety of forms but I personally would stick with the pills as I think the taste of the crap sucks.

My step father and brother put it into their shakes.. I think they put fruit, milk, and the powder in the blender.. they drink them all the time since they both workout and go to the gym a lot.

So is creatine something your body can get used to. What are the side effects of using stuff like that?
