No one really knows if MJ was actually a pedophile. We know he was charged and we know he was found innocent.

Let us pretend he was guilty. From what we can see, he died a tortured soul . . . tormented.

We also know that he was probably abused by his father and that pedophiles are psychologically disturbed.

If he really did abuse young boys, I am repulsed by what he did, but I think I can forgive him. God will.

Let us face it. It almost impossible to forgive a pedophile. Still, if we consider they are likely made, then what else . . .

I agree. It's really hard many times to separate the
action from the person (the sin from the sinner), but it
is necessary. People often feel much hate for a person
because of things said or done, only by recognizing that
specific as a part of the whole can they get on with daily life, and move forward (especially when that person is a part of their everyday personal or professional life).

I am not saying he was.

It almost takes courage to forgive someone who may have done something like this. People do not want to feel they are somehow associated with the so called sinner.

What if the child he abused was your own.. could you forgive him then?

You have made it far more challenging. You have brought this closer to us. I dont know if I would forgive. I hope that I could. Some would argue that forgiveness is part of the healing process.

I haven't made it challenging at all, I am laying the facts out. Try not to get wrapped up in the fact he is a man (or was), and that he abused a child (allegedly).

It doesn't matter it was Michael Jackson, a child's innocences was taken away, which is against the law.

A bigger part of healing is Justice.

If I can forgive him for touching other children, I can forgive him for touching my own... I might try and kill him first, but with time, I would, and I would help my child forgive as well.

Firstly I'd like to say we don't know if he was but erring on the side of caution that he could have been, then I don't think it correct to bring up a s***ty childhood to help justify or excuse any misconduct on his part.

Lots of people are brought up in abusive homes and the majority I believe gleen from their past that they want to do better than their parents, either way it's a choice for the pepretrator but what choice does a child victim have?

So musical genius or not, screwed up childhood or not anyone who commits such a crime should not be forgiven, because the child will never fully recover and will never forget.

Well... it's really hard for me to answer this, but still I would like to think if I can forgive him for supposedly molesting several children, that I would be fair and forgive him for touching my own. Like i said before, I would probably try and kill him, but with time, what's the hate and stubborn negative feelings going to do other than make matters worse.
