I know this won't help with learning, it's probably more cheating lol. But freetranslations.com. My sister uses it to figure out what her boss is saying(he's chinese) lol

Ya, french is my s*** man. I hate the french but i love the language. Its so easy to learn. hard to pronounce though. the thing that got me was the nouns and verbs and all that s*** when we had to learn em. to this day i still get cock eyed from it.

I could do the nouns, verb and conjugate just fine... Even passe compose was ok... and then it all went downhill with imperfect, pluperfect, imperative and future stuff

Just a note about the title of the thread, I think "savoir" would have been a better choice of verb rather than "connaitre" as "connaitre" is to know as in the sense of knowing a person, while "savoir" is to know something.

"Savez-vous un bon site pour apprendre le francais?" is good

Nice Laura! I remember that part too... to know something and to know a person! Hey Fuzzy i found that site and its no longer locked. I think this is what you are sort of looking for. Has basic exercises and activites... just click a chapter and off you go:
link [highered.mcgraw-hill.com]
If the link doesn't work just google vis a vis 3

You can try the website for tv5 link [www.tv5.org] it does not really have french lessons but if you know a bit of french already it helps to read the articles and listen to the shows, etc. It is more of a site to keep up and improve your french.

also..if anyone knows any high school students who are interested in traveling to Ireland for the Summer, tell them to check out this new program.

link [www.fcjsummer.com] or type in Flo's Cultural Journey into your google search engine
