I keep hearing that if you keep conkers in your house, you dont get spiders. To me this sounds like utter nonsense so can someone confirm or rubbish it for me.

But if it isn't the smell, how would the spiders know where the conkers were? Do you have to fill every room with them? Nah, can't see it myself. Anyway, I love my spiders. Shall I ask them for you, Robin?
