Well I'm a little confused. I'm not goth, but I've been listening to the music since I was 12, and I can relate to alot of goths and emos and well we have alot of things in common. What do you guys think it means?

Even then, doesn't make you a goth.

Nothing can.
Goth doesn't exist.
Neither does Emo.

Goth isn't about looking/listening to that music (To me at least)

Goth is a culture.
Not the most inviting culture, but very deep and interesting.

If you feel that you may fit in with them, maybe hang with some of the local
goths?
Could work out for the better.

Just be careful,
While most of the gothic community are nice enough, some aren't the people
you want to be anywhere near.

Emo kids are generally lots of fun to hang with.
Just get out there, it might be the culture for you

Moving into a gothic culture does have some terrible down points.

Huge amounts of people will just blanketly hate you.
