Hola, I have a mission to determine the english definition of the German slang work of "lea" it may be short for something or an expression but it is my understanding that word could be interpreted as young, child, little, small. Any help would be awesome. I have tried google and everything and I cannot find it and the spelling is correct. Whoever can assist I will be forever greatful to you.

Did you try a German to English site? Where you put in the words and it will translate?

I'm not sure what it could be slang for but try googling for german to english.

You have already asked this question in a different thread

Translation Question , and I gave you a response there. Have you bothered to read it....

Even if he read your response, it doesn't exactly help.

I did in fact read your response and my sources are correct thus I posted the same question on a different thread as you alluded to. Still I have not found the answer

Well, the ten years I spend in Germany didn't do too much for me either, but when I tell you I don't recognize "lea" as a German word or expression, the chances of anyone else coming up with something different are rather remote.

Just how was this "quest" presented to you? Can you post it or somehow display it in this thread?

"spend" it appears that it did not improve your english either. I only read it and it was not used in any context either thus I am unable to post it. But as i mentioned earlier, thank you for your help. At this point I am about to give up.

Does talking to me in a foreign language make you feel like more of a man. Just an observation.

I really am not a fun of licking and/or kissing a** either buddy. But good luck finding someone your age who is.

It always does a body good to treat someone with as much disdain as he treats you. The feeling is mutual, I am sure.

So, now that you have sluffed off my implied offer to have a second go at it, I hope you will enjoy the confusion you're stewing in, and reap the rewards of a failed mission.

Have yourself a sweet-assed time, baby-cakes!

Your last line says it all....

As an aside, I did thank you and yes you are correct it does feel good.

My mission has only been put on hold for the evening as the source of the comment returns tomorrow. But thank you for your efforts once again.

I really wish you would not have said that last line, i have the most disgusting/disturbing mental picture in my head right now.

Mona, this sort of 'reasoning' has had no effect on the Confused American. He's been back, but not on this thread.

Mir scheint's, von weit und breit, keine Ahnung.....
