My and this guy from school keep having this argument about who is better, The Clash, or the Ramones. Personally I like the Ramones. So battle of the bands who would win?

That is not a fair question.

But if I had to choose who to listen too, it would probably be The Clash, but then
again, they probably wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for the Ramones.

in the name of punk, the ramones are the better band. the ramones were consistant and remained punk till the day they died. clash however is more diverse in the sense that they gave up their punk sound and tried new things, i dont think they're as consistant at all, i only like their stuff before london calling, then they got all weird and un-punk.
