23/F/LA, California Join Date: Jan 2009 | This thread will be all about chocolate recipes.. Everyone are welcome to share their favorite chocolate recipe, any kind/form as long as there's a chocolate in it.
Here's mine:
Dark Chocolate Truffles
100 g dark chocolate (75% cocoa)
100 ml double cream
15 g unsalted butter (softened)
50 g blanched hazelnuts
2 tbsp golden caster sugar
1-2 tsp arak flavouring
cocoa powder to dust
blend chocolate pieces and hazelnuts in a food processor. Add double cream, butter, sugar, flavouring, mix well. Place in the fridge for couple of hours or even overnight. Then create small, about 1 tsp size, balls from the truffle mixture, dust in a cocoa powder and leave aside. Store in fride.

60 Second Chocolate Mousse
1 c chocolate chips
1 c heavy cream
1 egg
whipped cream
1 tsp vanilla
Place chocolate, egg, and flavoring in blender and blend. Heat cream until small bubbles appear at edge. Do not boil. With machine running, pour in hot cream. Blend until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Pour into dessert dishes and cover with plastic and chill. Serve with whipped cream dollops.
Sounds wonderful! I'm going to try this one! | | |
