hm, you know why women can't 'take it easy' because everytime we go out with our husbands or boyfriends, we're too busy babysitting their stupid asses so they dont make a fool of themselves. ladies can just as easily chill out and sit back as men do, but usually we have much more that we'd like to accomplish while we have spare time. thats fine that men just like to sit there, but we usually like to be productive in our time of days off or weekends. so shove it.

This is what my g/f tells me! HAHAHA. You sure are gettin on the guys for your first few posts here! Well Welcome and have fun.

I don't know, when I want to relax, I want to sleep in and watch movies for the most part. Call it lazy or not, but I work 24-7 and enjoy some down time.

Women don’t seem to be as able to relax as easily as men. I think that women equate relaxation with laziness and certainly view the non productive activities of their men folk as such. For instance, at sports games, is it 50/50 or are there a LOT more men there than women? Women obviously have trouble taking it easy. What do you think?

You basically described my husband to a T. I'm constantly thinking, I feel like I've got a freakin wife! Nag nag nag! I can totally sympathize with guys with nagging wives! He says do the dishes, I say I'll do it at the next commercial, and that's not good enough for him! No, he wants it done now! I'm like, "it'll still be there in ten minutes." But nooo...dishes are "disgusting". God forbid they not be washed immediately after each and every meal. I personally think once a day is good enough, but to him that makes me "lazy". What he calls "lazy", I call "more time efficient". I think I'm being practical, but he doesn't wanna see it that way.

I have a hard time relaxing. I used to say my perfect day would mean my house would be completely clean, my yard mowed, weed eating done. The cars washed and waxed. My kids away for the day with grandma or something, Hubby of working or whatever, me I would soak up the couch with ice cream watching life time.
There have been a couple times in my 19 years of parenting that the kids were all out. but I always spent it preparing for the complete day. Its never happened.

Life is what you make of it!!

Maybe you are just comparing scheduled women. I am for the most part on a daily schedule and when it's time to be doing something like housework I have to admit I expect everyone to be on the same page. But I take time out to read, or go for a walk or just lounge around. Only difference is, finishing what needs to be done takes priority or it never gets done and I personally hate putting things off.

Women can relax, some different to others.
Some men can't relax either, some are complete work freaks, other neat freaks, same with women.
Saying women can't relax as easily as men, is stupid, in my opinion.
It's like saying men have no balls
Just saying, some women can relax, some can't, same with men.

if men didn't relax so much then women would be able to, but we're too busy taking care of the men's crap that they can't deal with
