sorry to barge in here on your "man talk" session, but I DO have trouble relaxing. I'm hyper as F#$$%K!!! I don't know why... I've been sitting by while men watch TV and play games for years and now I can't take it N E more! I will go out and buy toilet paper just to get out of the house. Sorry no answers for ya.

I have a terrible time relaxing, i work, teach my kids, clean the house etc etc and im a single parent. Even if im sitting on TFS i feel as though i should be doing something more productive. I cant rest until everything is done.

men go through this also. i call it the puritan work ethic. it's unhealthy and irrational. (if it was just irrational, no problem.) all evil comes from the inability to sit calmly? i'm not sure i think that, but i think it's worth mentioning.

A woman is only able to relax when her "house is in order" this explains why shes tidying up before she sits down for the evening or go to bed.

A woman (IMO) plans things more than men..ie meals for the week, what outfit to wear for a certain outing, what clothes need washing so no one in the family runs out of what to wear, packed lunches for the day. Therefore women are running around doing things before men even realise something needs doing.

Women "see" things that need doing in the home, men either dont see them or dont think anything needs doing. Remember if a house is dirty...its the woman that is held responsible..

i've known plenty of men and women that reverse this of course. also i think listmaking is only one way to realise things, not the only way.

I do not have any trouble relaxing. When everything else is said and done, and my responsibilities of the day are accounted for, then I relax either with a good book, listening to music, watching television (and incidentally I don't care for sports at all, but that's not a prerequisite for relaxation). I also love to play board games and video games with my family.

You r right about that they cant relax as fast as we can when me and my ex got in fights i would relax in probaly 30 minutes and she wouold still be mad at me when we went to bed that night... That was probaly the worst night of my life.lol

hm, you know why women can't 'take it easy' because everytime we go out with our husbands or boyfriends, we're too busy babysitting their stupid asses so they dont make a fool of themselves. ladies can just as easily chill out and sit back as men do, but usually we have much more that we'd like to accomplish while we have spare time. thats fine that men just like to sit there, but we usually like to be productive in our time of days off or weekends. so shove it.
