on the basis of 9 room the average is Ł86.88 a week or Ł345 a month

Ł86 a week is horrible after paying plymouth student rents. It's on par with London.

Ł86 isnt to bad for the area, make sure you get your moneys worth in quality though. I rent in surry and thats pretty cheap compared to round here!

Don't listen to the sour folk on here! Cambridge is a great place to live, nice pubs, great nightlife! make lots of friends!

A good site to try is either http://www.gumtree.com or http://www.rightmove.co.uk

Anyone can post on gumtree though, so its best to take a pal if you are looking a rooms from that site.

Cambridge is good for travelling to other places in East Anglia too such as Norwich or Ipswich. Norfolk coast is only 1hr 30mins if you put your foot down! the beaches are really quiet if you stick to the small towns and villages!
