What is it about caller ID that makes people idiots? Every time I dial someone with it they call back defensively and act like I'm the antichrist Usually it's the right number but somebody's wife of roommate. "You just called here and I know it was you cuz I've got caller ID, now what do you want?" I feel like answering "I want you to die slowly, strung up by your b@lls and forced to chew your way down only to find a vat of flesh eating beetles awaiting your arrival below".

HAHA Aww. I never understood calling people back. When I get a strange number, if they don't leave a v-mail im super happy, then I don't have to make ANY calls! HAHA. Most I do is sometimes look it up online to see where it was coming from.

I simply answer and once I realise cut them off and say "Wrong #" and hang up!!! Simple like that...They call back and I notice the number I say Gunygun gun chang patti wang chang!!!! Then they just hang up!!!

I'm gonna call you tonight and say "why do you keep calling meeeeeeeeeee???"

Well, Dan, you should ask them, "Who am I?" and then, no matter what they tell you, deny it vehemently, (give a phony name, and) let them know that you "just got this number installed, this morning!" Ask them if they would like to meet to discuss the matter, arrange a time and place, then don't show up! They'll be blaming whats's-name and cursing him to high-heaven!

any time someone calls me asks me who i am, I always answer.. "well who did you call?"


My desk number is one off from the generic caller id for the whole place. most people that call me back like that dialed wrong.

I had one lady insisting I called her to set up an appointment for a cat scan. I didn't. she was very hard to get rid of. I really should have set one up and them brought my cat in to sniff her, he would have enjoyed the outing.

I'd whisper into the phone, they keep asking me to repeat myself, get frustrated and hang up. Now I have a private #, some people need a whack.

I laugh when people call and ask who you are. As Tiger says, I say the same of who are you looking for? When they ask if this is number 4721509734298 I just say, it's the number you dialed.
