I just recently made a shift from Marketing to Communications where I will be the voice for our company. i also just finished making some minor changes to our corporate logo which has been in existence for over 50 years. now it is up to me to develop some branding strategies and roll-out suggestions that could educate our employees internally of the change, why the change took place, etc. Do you have any suggestions on how this could be accomplished, some ideas as to ways of getting buy-in and employee involvement. If i were to develop a branding campaign internally, what would/could this consist of. any branders or communicators out their that can feed me some advice to get me started.

Hmmm, I have no marketing experience, but the first step of rolling out any change in an organization is identifying change agents - individuals who are on board with the change, and happy to champion it.

Right you are Annie. I would be glad to help but I would need to know a lot more information. What kind of product is it? Who is it aimed at.

Do you have a house organ? That's an internal newsletter. You might try writing one on your own if the company doesn't already have one.

Write conversationally and don't use buzz words or phrases. People are very sick of them except when they themselves are using them.

I have never sent out a sales letter yet that wasn't at least the sixth draft. Remember, you are trying to sell something and when you are selling something you should emphasize customer benefits. How is this going to help THEM.

I must admit I don't really know what the buzz word "branding" means. Educate me. It seems business people are worse than teens about the compulsion to continually produce more slang.

Peace be upon you.
