You can buy a liitle USB hoover that sucks up all the dust from the ventilators and the bill costs oads less.
My dad has one and I use it

What do you mean? The game is driven by gameplay, not by graphics.
The cell shading effect gives it a sort of comic book like effect but that's not the point of the game. the point of the game is just to play and have fun. which you can easily do because your not distracted by epic graphics and realism.

exactly wot u said i dnt like comic book appearences much at all, i find THAT distracts from the game, because it detracts from level of detail. and yes i like gameply most so maybe i will take your advice and give it a go. but if it is a let down for me then the graphics will have a large part to play.

When i said distracts i meant that it distracts the people who made the game.
They spend weeks and months making an awesome graphics engine then two weeks on the actual game.
Borderlands is a lot of fun, it's way better with people online though since it was designed as a co-op game.
If you really don't like games because of the graphics not being hyper-realistic then that's quite childish.

kullik stop being a school child with your remarks. i am not childish for demanding good graphics on my games. but i do play low graphics games well i used to i guess eg css dod still playin sega here and there if i can be bothereed with it, and theres a host of low end games i still re-install from time to time. but i would rather a game thats just come out with the power of pc's and consoles of today to be with decent realistic graphics, worth ever penny of the usual £40 price tag. i am aware of games such as zelda kingom hearts etc being very good at the story and gameplay aspects but those game si simply couldnt get into, again mostly to do with the graphics.

also had you known that if you knew anything about computer games design and programming, then you would also know there is a huge team in place to get the game made. so those games you say the developers 'spent weeks and months on the grpahics engine', the gameplay is being developed at the same time by another team, and by that i dont mean computer modelling i mean story and concept art, therefore the option to go for a cartoon look is made by a senior developer, who probably thinks it makes the game more immersive which it probably does for some people, but not me.

I'm a pretty active gamer and I thought borderlands was fun. Yeah it had a crappy ending, but it was a cool time waster and online was entertaining.

I think its a good game but everybody has a different opinion. Rent it first and than decide if you want to buy it.
