Anything by James Rollins would make a good action thriller.

Most of my favorites I would rather see as television mini series just so more content could be used. Homeland by John Jakes. Brother Fish by Bryce Courtenay. Epics that a 2hour move could never do justice to.

I think that The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell would make an amazing movie, if it was done right!

I think they should stop making books into movies, there is no possible way to capture the essense of an amazing novel. Some are decent, but its just hard to cram an entire novel into a movie. A lot of the time they cut out important parts of the novel.

Across the Nightingale Floor by Lian Hearn... I actually think they are already making it into a movie but its not finished yet... I cant wait for it, but im afraid that they're gonna ruin the book, like what has happened with so many other books...
