David Eddings Doesn't have jack on Tad Williams.
Also I would like to see a new Dune, but one that wasn't s**tty.
i've never read any tad williams,
i avoid most fantasy stuff, since to be fair its mostly s**te, but some gets recommended to me and it can be great stuff,
i'll check out tad williams, any book in particular?
dune really deserves a good film made, the old one has a pretty huge cult following though, i don't see it.
hmm,
orson scott card, enders game would make an awesome film.

yeah read Memory Sorrow and thorn, Tail Chaser's Song, or if you like a more sci fi approach read the Otherland series.
I didn't even think of ender's game that book has to be in my all time top 20. Never read about a harder 5 year old in my life.
clever got me this far then tricky got me in | | |

i loved those books, too, the sequel, speaker for the dead is a really good book, there's a bunch of others but i havn't read them yet.
oh except the one that tells bean's story, .
its interesting, it runs concurrently with enders game but from his point of view.
i guess i'd be worried it'd be made into too much of a kids film, since the main characters are like age 5 to 13.

ahh yeah but that 5 year old kicks someone to death, twice! Plus I mean you feel for Ender when you read the book, not to mention his older brother...
I read Speaker for the Dead, didn't know they made a book from Bean's point of view, is it lame?
