Bono took his name from a shop called Bono vox which is latin for good voice. So If you meet Bono you can say 'Hi, good. How's it goin'?
The law thing pro Bono means for good it means the lawyer is representing someone because they think it's the right thing to do. If Bono ever makes a solo lp that's what he aught to call it.
It'd be For good by Good!

I think Bono's after a noble prize for humanitarian stuff, and that's why he's doin' all the goody-goody bs...I used to like him and like his songs when they come on but i'd never listen to a u2 cd again!

Well i never supported him in all that anyway, but i just meant i'm not so into him anymore and i think hes more concerned about the noble prize than the suffering thing!

I'm basically a cynic. Thing is, if I volunteer for say, an animals rescue group and someone donates a large amount of money, I'm not goign to ask why they are donating. I'll just be happy to put that money to good use. Same thing with Bono. I don't care what his motives are so long as he's making a positive impact.

Yeah, what an asshole. He's only helping millions of people and doing more than anyone else on earth to raise poverty awareness because he wants a Nobel Peace Prize.
