all these new ones suck!
the best are the ones from the 70s/80s like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre! That one is awesome! though the sequels scared the hell out of me just by being thought of

I hated The Ring - even the American version scared me. I love Psycho - had me shivering.

The horror movies such as Jason and Scream will always be good, but most of the newer horror movies aren't that good. Most of them are teen slasher flicks, and I don't like them. But there are some good ones such as:

The Saw movies

Resident Evil

Alien

Those ones are pretty good! And of course I like most of the classic horror movies too.

There are no bad guns, just bad gun owners.

The hell raiser trilogy as films were all crap but i watch them cos i love pinheads voice.
Being a hard core horror junky i have to say i've seen a lot of horror films!!
The shining- for the pshycological terror
John Carpenters The Thing- for the whole scenario
Saw 3- for sheer horror and gore.
Aliens- for a never cease to thrill classic
The Messengers- for a taste of the supernatural

Hostel wound up being two hours of my life i'll just never get back it was that pointless!!
Thirteen ghosts is also worth a watch, the Ghosts are quite chilling in that and its fast paced.

hmm, i've never really been scared by a film,

i'd recommend the ring or evil dead or 28 days later.
