I don't advocate crushing EMO's, they seem miserable enough already, but people who don't like Ska are wierd. What's not to like? It's all about the brass, the groove, the skank!

Check out BISON, ska straight outta Sheffield.
I think I'm too new here to post URLs but it's allhailthebison dot com.

i have never met anyone that could actually say they didnt like ska after i gave them a little bit to listen to. many ppl just say they dont like it bc they dont understand what its about and have never heard true ska. i have only been listening to ska for about a year or so now but it is about the only kind of music i listen to bc everything else practically came from it. raggae, dub, rap, punk, all of that came, to some extent, from ska. i think no matter what kind of music you normally listen to, if you hear good ska, you will be skanking the night away and will absolutely enjoy it.

saxaphones are just so catchy, in ska you just cant help but like it! seroiusly its shown me that music doesnt have to be sad, it can be so childishly happy its ridiculous!

Haha. I love ska way too much.

Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies and The Toasters are 3 of my favourite bands.

Finally, some people who appreciate good music.

SKA! no way dude!! its poop!! all though the mitty boss tones are good with knock on wood but thats it.. rock with trumpets is all wrong!! (sorry if ive upset anyone!! )

I'm offended and don't f**king touch me. Ska isn't rock with trumpets, if it was rock with trumpets there wouldn't be any strong upbeats, now would there?

Don't call yourself a rude boy and then bash emo kids. Do you understand the concept between the checkered pattern (a two-tone thing)? It represents unity between black and white people and then some. The white could be rudies and the black could be emos.

I have to say, I hate it when I see people wearing the black and white check when they don't understand what it means.

I had a group of girls come up to me and say, "You must think you're well hardcore with all your check." (I had on my wrist band, belt and shoes with a ska tshirt) And it infuriated me.

I hate when people wear different coloured checkers. I've seen black people, but I have yet to see green people.

Ohhh, The Toasters have added new tour dates.

I think I'll book tickets for November 13th. They're playing only 10 minutes away from me, and the security know me. They let me meet most bands there.
