Contrary to what many Westerners believe, Oriental dance (the correct name for belly dancing) did not originate as a dance of seduction done by concubines to titillate the Sultan.

It was a dance that men, women, and children did for fun, not a "performance" done to entertain an audience.

That's the definition they give u everywhere for belly dancing
But i wanna know if guys really consider it that way
I mean- when somebody says belly dance, don't u instantly imagine a girl in her underwear dancing in ur lap?

Theory is good, but it doesn't prevent things from existing.

Although i see no point in fantasising about one belly dancer when i can more easily fantasise about several

But u know there are also male belly dancers do U fantasy about them too, Oh sorry, several?
