Ew- freak- actually- is it good? I'm contemplating a new computer, but haven't a clue what I want. I want it to work- beyond that, I'm not too picky.

I'm biased, as I prefer only to work on Apple computers. My dad is a freelance graphic artist and that's all we ever had in the house. I have a first generation iMac that still works like the day I bought it in 2001. I've seen people throwing out 4 year old Windows based computer because they were pieces of s***.

I suggest going to link [www.apple.com] and looking at their eMac line. They computers are relatively inexpensive and are awesome machines. I'm getting one just to upgrade my system. I don't really need a new computer, I just want one.

Hmm- see- I know the graphics capabilities are better, but I'm so used to non-mac stuff that I fear I would get confused. I'm not all that computer literate to begin with (sadly).. I can do the basics, but beyond that- ha!

the new iMac G5 is what I'm after. I'm into filmmaking, I use them at school, that kick ass. Only 600 bucks away from my dream machine.

One of my first comps was a mac and PCs confused me.

Now I've been using PCs for years and I can hardly figure out how to do anything on Macs.

I think its more just what people are used to.

BUt I do have a theory that Macs are preferred by females and girly-men.

Well, I can use both Macs and PCs. I generally don't get confused with computers unless they screw up and I have to figure out why.
