He won "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples".

I mean, come on!! He has moved soldiers from Iraq to Afghanistan. He has become unpopular in the USA. I think maybe he could have won this in 2010 or 2011, if his plans turn out to function. Now is too soon... It's a populistic choice to garner attention, just like giving it to Al Gore in 2007.
