It seems that America hasn't seen yet that Obama is NOT the right candidate. He is possibly the worst choice possible. Just consider that his brother is an active militant islamist who kills christians!

Christopher, this wasn't you was it?

In a May 7 article, Washington Times reporter Stephen Dinan wrote that Sen. Barack Obama "continues to have trouble with voters' preconceived notions about him, including one man eating breakfast at an Indiana restaurant who waved him away when the candidate approached him." Dinan then uncritically quoted the man stating, "I can't stand him. ... He's a Muslim. He's not even pro-American as far as I'm concerned." By contrast, in a May 7 article, the Chicago Sun-Times wrote:

Though Obama outspent Clinton 2-to-1 in Indiana, there was just no reaching some people. At a restaurant outside Indianapolis Tuesday morning, one man waved Obama away when the senator approached him to shake his hand. The man told a reporter, "I can't stand him. He's a Muslim. He's not even pro-American as far as I'm concerned."

Obama has never been a Muslim, but bogus e-mails accuse him of being a Muslim who put his hand on a copy of the Quran to be sworn into the U.S. Senate and refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance.

Well let's be honest, he would have been a sure winner already, was it not for his name and all the terror islamist rumours. Nobody can deny the fact USA is quite a racist country (Now I am NOT saying all Americans are. Some of my best friends on the net are Americans and will/would vote for Obama. It's just, there *ARE* many racists there) (Says I who lives in the most equal country in this world)

This as got to be one of the more non-racists post i've read....way to go who ever posted this.....you couldn't be more RIGHT!!!! the new way to say Obama is: "One Brillant American Man Atlast"!!!!

I don't understand how anybody would refuse voting for somebody based on race, or the affiliations of their family members.. even if you DON'T support Obama, let it be because you don't agree with his views, not about his race or family!

I believe the poster was making a joke of the hysterical attitudes towards Obama. He is ridiculing the fact that people are so damn racist.

This thread sounds like John Adams and James Madison explaining why democracy sucks. We recently read in David McCullough's book, John Adams, about how Adams argued for a bicameral legislature in Massachusetts to guard against uniformed voters. Another historian, who we saw on CSpan (possibly David O Stewart author Summer of 1787: The Men Who Invented the Constitution, argues that Madison wanted the constitution because the revolution had resulted in too much democracy, which could be a way of saying too many uniformed, illiterate voters.

I have worked in all 50 states and at last count 38 different countries. I am not a racist or a bigot but it does exist and it always will to some degree. I do not like obama on the facts not the color. I also did not like clinton on the facts and not the gender.
I will not vote for McCain(although I really wanted to) because of his stance on illegal aliens. My only choice now is myself for president since I love my country and would do what is best for her and not mexico.

In how many states will you have electors on the ballot?

My comments are based on my observations of the people that I meet on a daily basis. I see racism first hand and I also see the good that crosses racial barriers. I love our freedom to vote whether the outcome is in my favor or not.
I served in the military to help secure that right that so many take for granted or take so lightly that they don't care.
Whom I vote for , where I vote from or my reasons for voting are of no concern to you nor is the possibility that I will abstain from voting for lack of choice.
I would vote for myself since I love this country but I don't think I'll get the popular vote.

Okay, we honor your service, but the Constitution says that electors of the Electorial College elect the president, so unless you are an elector, you can't vote for yourself.
