The phone has rung about 20 times since I have been up, I haven't answered it because it will just be people looking for money I don't have but none of them leave messages!
I know it is them because I can 1471 their asses and most of the time a number comes up...but damned if im gonna go pay some f**ker who wont talk to my answer machine!

I leave messages...Its usually "I hate the answering machine message your phone has, change it."

the trick is, pick up the phone and if you dont hear a "hello" within 3 seconds, you know its an automated dialler and thus people wanting money.

Or you could get a Lewis who just says "go away" and puts the phone down.

I never know what to say on voicemails except leaving my name and number and asking them to call me back

I never leave a voice mail unless i am trying to reach someone urgently.

I hate it when people dont leave a message, I try to leave a message if its important in both my personal and work life..
It makes me laugh when people cant seperate there lives from work etc, and leave you a well formal message..

i hate leaving messages on machines, but i've done it plenty in a professional setting.
if they're looking for money them maybe its policy that they have to talk to you in person before they can tick that box.

if they wanted to send a message they'd post a letter.

Nope i have 1 company who is after money rings me, well i have caller id so i just ignore lol, but anyways they l;eave like an automated message on my machine. Its like this is a message for xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx could you call us on xxxxxxxx quoting reference xxxxxxxxx i repeat this is a message for xxxxxxxx could you please call us on xxxxxxxxx quoting reference xxxxxxx.

It's like a computer though and cant even pronounce my name lmao i just sit laughing at it hehe

I hate phones! I detest phones! I abhor phones! I do not like people who stay on phones gossiping for long periods of time. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

I hate it when some unknown number calls and a person doesn't leave a message. But half the time if they did, I wouldn't call back. We never answer the phone at my house! We all sit around and look at each other, like "I don't give a s**t who's calling, I don't want to talk to them anyway!"

Yeah, I hate telephones. And I hate the people who gossip on telephones in my presence. I also hate it when people call me and stays long talking. I tell them that I have to go and they keep yaking and yaking and yaking. I hold the phone away from my ears.

Wow. So many phone issues. Who knew? I don't mind leaving a message, would prefer if everyone who called me left a message.
