Who says they spoil their looks? Tattooed girls/women can be VERY sexy Like Kat Von D.
It all depends on who's judging.
And it's not only tattoos that can spoil looks, so can too much makeup, bleach, botox, fake tanner, etc
It's all about first impressions with me and tattoo's mean butch, unladylike.
Absolute turn off for me.

Is it tattoos period or a bunch of them? Because I've certainly seen tasteful, beautiful tattoos before, that were on very beautiful women. Not anything like Kat Von D but girls that had just a little one here or there.
Not looking to get into any heated discussions btw, just curious really.

You're treading on thin ice here. I don't have tattoos but this might become a heated discussion. Be prepared to become a target.
I'm not going to change my mind however heated it becomes, I think they look awful on a woman and ridiculous at best.

That's not what I meant. You'll likely offend many people. I don't like anyone being hurt.

Wow. I take it you have very different standards from me then.
I plan to get one when I'm older, it's a shame to think some guys would think me as unladylike for a mere tattoo. Then again I've never really been ladylike

If you want one, go for it! I'm actually in the middle (not literally but between sessions) of getting a big piece done on my chest. But tattoos are for the people getting them, and not for anyone else. Don't worry about what other people think. If they don't like you because you chose to get a tattoo, and for that reason only, well in my opinion, I think that's quite shallow and they're not worth knowing.
But on the other hand, not everyone HAS to like them ON you, should not alter their opinion of YOU! I think that came out right...

I was kicked out of my local library for moving all the bibles to the 'fiction' section.

As I said my brothers a tattooist but even he regrets the tattoos he has on his hands and is now having them removed by laser which is far more painful and leaves terrible scarring.

If tattoos are for the people getting them and not for others why do the idiots that get them on their legs then insist on rolling up their jeans etc just to show them off, it's bloody ridiculous.
