17/F/Lebanon, Maine Join Date: May 2008 | It was a story I read awhile back,
though I can't remember the name
or who wrote it.
It's about a soldier, who's in battle.
He's wandering alone, and he ends up
finding a wounded soldier of the opposite
army, but instead of killing him,
the two end up talking for awhile,
about their lives and just whatever.
(I don't really remember about what)
I do remember, though, that in the book,
it mentioned how the men could hear
the battle going on nearby, and how
they could hear canon fire and stuff.
(I think it was canon fire xP)
After awhile, the soldier learns
that his enemy is the guy who
had killed his father
years ago or something.
If anyone knows the name of it,
I'd really appreciate it. =]
I've been looking for the story
for years now, and I'd
really like the opportunity
to be able to read it again.
I think I read it back
when I was in school. |
