Mine is pretty much under control... medication really helps.
But, I still have bad spells sometimes.

Anyone else here have an Anxiety Disorder? Just wondering.

I don't personally. But my ex-girlfriends son never left the house for almost 3 years after he got beaten up once. Kept having panic attacks, but he was OK in the back garden.
I hear he has made progress now and goes out quite often.

I do. I have panic attacks. Not as bad as I use to though.

I am an evil giraffe, and I shall eat more leaves from this tree then prehaps I should, so that other giraffes may die

I'm not sure it would qualify as a "disorder" at this point, perhaps in the past, but I've had ongoing issues with anxiety in various situations.

you're all silly. Even with out being diagnosed with anxiety disorder, most people have anxiety at one time or another.

Sometimes I skip taking something for my anxiety so I felt it would be fine to take an extra tablet today. It helps me sleep. Honestly, it helps with pain if taken with Tylenol. I'd ask a doctor before taking anything extra to be safe.

Yeh, I started getting really bad spells after a really bad time in my life. Saw a shrink for quite awhile and finally found the right meds.....but there are times when I do get major anxiety and I get so depressed thinking my pills aren't working.

Love your kids,respect your kids and most of all, listen to your kids.
