The mirror I found in a second hand shop for 40 bucks the roll top desk my mothers mother gave me and the sewing machine my dad found in a second hand store in the early 1960's and gave to my grandma to replace the one she lost when they had a house fire . the plates I've picked up over the years at yard sales and shops the silver the same thing i pick it up where ever I find it in shops and estate sales , the 60 odd collectables fiction novels I found at an estate sale I have 5 books over a 100 years old 2 over them were mixed in with the novels and the other 3 I found in different shops. I don't have alot of space so I have learnt to be kinda of picky , I had found a really nice bed frame about 80 years old and almost bought it but figured I'd hit a few more shops and come back 3 shops later i found my bed it is about 120 years old and in great shape , never made it back to that first shop . lol,,,I have a dry sink and a coal oil amber lamp both belonged to my grandma's mother. I'll stop it's one of my favorite topics to ramble about is antiques. I am a member of a couple of forums that is all that is talked about .

Marbles are a strange thing when it comes to what they are worth. There are some that are worth up to a buck or more each and then there are hundreds worth 25 cents each.
I have a gallon jar and 4 old quart jars full I took some of them into an antique store to see what they were worth and of course I have hundreds worth 25 cents or less and only 2 worth any real money . | | |
