I live in Melbourne, but am from New Zealand. I've lived in Oz since 1985 though, so I feel like an aussie. Even when I last visited NZ in 1991, I felt like I was in a foreign country and couldn't wait to get 'home', lol. But NZ is a beautiful country and I highly recommend it to travellers.

HI ALCOOPS Newcastle brings back lots of good memories to me, when i was a seafarer i would visit there reguarly, mainly working for BHP on the iron ore run. Hope to return there one day for old times sake, welcome to the forum,
